Dave and Candy's Spring Break 2009

Candy learned of the General's Cabin and we decided to spend our Spring Break, there.
General Little was an Air Force Brigadier General who was a fighter pilot in the Flying Tigers in Burma during World War II.
He built this cabin after he retired. The property contained the schoolhouse he
attended as a boy. He used the windows from the schoolhouse in the cabin.
There is a small pond on the property which I fished, thoroughly. It seems tadpoles had just emerged
and the bass had gorged on them. You would'a thought, having their fill of tadpoles,
they would have jumped at a piece of wood or plastic.

That is as far as I wanted to get to the edge. One of many arches in The Red River Gorge. Another Arch An interesting tunnel.
The tunnel entrance. We were not going to stop for pictures, inside. The General and his daughter operated a restaurant on the property for a few years. Candy crotheting in the cabin. Dusty and I playing chess.
